This post is from Grandma.

Everything is set and ready for our arrival. In this post you will find directions to the cabin. Instructions for our photo shoot on Tuesday morning and a short listing of things to do in the area. First rule of thumb is:

1) This is YOUR vacation! Do what you want! There are only a few days we are asking the family to play together, and the rest of the time is for you! That is my gift to you!

2) Tuesday is "Grandma's Day" We will be starting off with a photo shoot of the family at the beach. Diosa is a wonderful photographer and she will be flashing the camera all week! Thank you Diosa!

• PS She does have a timer and this will allow her to be in the photos as well!

Please remember too bring blue jeans and a white top for the photos. That evening we will be having my favorite dinner!

3) Check in is @ 3PM We will list all our cell numbers below as well as the address.

Menu for the week-always subject to change and the flow

Breakfast..
We decided to keep it simple.. available daily.

Fruit, boiled eggs, muffins, donuts, bagels, yogurt, cereal (hot & cold) anyone wants eggs and bacon etc. It will be available.

Lunch..

Sandwiches or whatever
Lunch meats and tuna, cheese, bread , rolls, lettuce, tomato, onion...lots of celery carrots and veggie snackies...chips, crackers, cheeses.

Dinners...

All changeable and days will be different...

Saturday Night-(arrival day)...Pizza drinks salad AND PARTY on!!!

Sunday Night-Open night-Date night for the sweeties if you want.

Monday Night-Uncle Bubba's chicken parmigiana (?) salad, bread...drinks

Tuesday Night-Birthday celebration night!-Ribs, Potatoes, variety of salads, french bread...drinks

Get your party hats on! And a very special Birthday dessert!

Wednesday Night- Tri-tip, prawns, artichokes, our famous potato baked dish or baked potato...drinks

Thursday-Lasagna or Pasta of some sort, sour dough bread, salad...drinks


Friday night- Burgers, (beef and Turkey) hot dogs, salads, Leslie's famous onion rings and fries, buns...chips...drinks

Saturday -depart.................................sob.....

Lattes for Grandma....yeah.....!!!

Sunset Lake Tahoe, North Shore

Greetings Tahoer's!

I wanted to update everyone with some incidentals.

1) The Gabriella House is equipped with all our needs. Linens, towels, pillows, etc. There is a jacuzzi tub outside and I will bring a blow-up pool for the littles for the days we are not at the Lake.

2) There is a washer and dryer available.

3) Each bedroom, with the exception of one, has a private bath.

4) The average temperature this time of year is average 78 degrees during the day and 48 degrees at night with occasional thunderstorms in the afternoons. So this should help you with your clothes packing. If you want to bring one nice outfit for an evening out with your sweetie or gambling date, then do so, but Tahoe is pretty casual.

5) Please pack a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt for our photo session-more details to follow!

6) Let us know if you will be needing anything special, i.e., porta-crib, highchair, babygate, so we can round them up before then.

7) Mom will post the menu later today so let us know if you have any food allergies. We will be doing the majority of the shopping before our arrival but there is a store right down the street.

8) We will bring an array of toys for the kids.

9) We have the beach towel and bag situation covered! :)

10) The mosiquitos are firece right now so I am trying to hunt down an Avon distributor for some "Skin so soft" If you know of one let me know.
